Kinder Care / Merganser Program # 80002057 

Little Leaders kinder care students will take part in crafts, games, music, group activities, gym activities, and outdoor fun.

All activities develop self-confidence, social skills, and creative minds.

Kinder Care 

Kinder Care takes place at 102 - 300 Merganser Drive W in our newly renovated commerial unit. Shuttle service will be provided by Little Leaders.

Before and After School Care

Before and After School Care will be provided for all our kindergarten students back in our school or Merganser program. Student drop-off and pick-up will be at the B&A Program your child is registered in, either Prairie Waters, East Lake, or Merganser (Rainbowcreek and Our Lady of Wisdom). 

Kinder Care Hours of Operation

Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 2:30 pm

Friday’s 8:00 am – 12:45 pm

There is an option for Before & After School care from 6:30am - 5:45pm. This is considered full-time. 

Morning students

Students will be walked to class and picked up when classes end and will then be shuttled to Kinder Care for Kindergarten Care, in the afternoon students will get ready to return to their school for After School Care with the rest of our older students.

Afternoon students

Students will be picked up when classes start in morning and then shuttled to Kinder Care, for the morning, and then students will get ready to be shuttled back to the school for afternoon classes. Little Leaders staff will pick students up from class at the end of the day and bring them into After School Care with the rest of our older students.

Friday Kinder Care

Students have class every other Friday, when the students have no classes from 8:00 – 12:45 they will attend Kinder Care. Kinder Care Shuttles will pick students up when classes start and take to kinder care and return to the schools at 12:45 for After School Care.

PD Days / Extended Holidays

Little Leaders will operate in our Kinde Care Program.

PD days and extended Holidays, this is not included in your monthly fees, please see the fee below.  Over the school year Little Leaders may plan field trips on scheduled PD Days, on these days students will be charged a minimal fee for the excursion’s entrance fee and transportation cost.

Lunch / Snacks

Students are required to bring a snack and their lunch (no kitchen access).

Fees

• Full-time Kinder Care - $1030.00; includes B&A Care at PWE, ELS or Merganser (RBC & OLW)
• Part-time Kinder Care - $515.00; does not include B&A Care at PWE, ELS or Merganser (RBC & OLW)
• Kinder Care Drop-In fee - $50.00 per day, does not include B&A at PWE, ELS, or Merganser (RBC & OLW)
• PD Day / Extended Holidays Drop-In fee for Full-time students - $30.00 per day

Child Care fees are due on the first day of each month. Cheque, EFT Payment.
